You're So Sweet

It's nothing like popsicles in the Summer Time.  I wanted to play around with a few challenges and used Tuesday Morning Sketches to create this card.  The paper is from my RAK partner Ometa at Scraps of Color now Embrace Your Art.  It's a Love Nicole Tonal Patterns paper pad.

Oh Happy Day

This card was created for my sorority sister's husband who was hospitalized.  We are praying for 100% Full Recovery.  Their church is having a Youth & Young Adult conference this week and I know his heart is there, but I pray that his mind is on healing and his health restored. Ministers are often pulled in many directions.  I pray this card finds his spirits filled with joy on his way back to re-newness of life.

Random Act of Kindness

This canvas is one of the gifts I gave my partner at Scraps of Color RAK Swap.  The rules were to surprise them with a homemade gift and goodies from their profile  My gift was a canvas with her favorite colors green and black. I kind of got carried away with the green.  Ometa didn't ask for much on her list, however, she is a Huge Tim Holtz fan and is enjoying his on-line classes.    I just had to use this 'Off to Crop' Crafty Sister digital image by Robert Jackson.  It's so much like her photo.  It was a pleasure chatting with her and guess what?  She and I work in the same field!  How cool is that?!!  

This is the RAK I sent her wrapped in some really cool paper from Michael's.  I'm trying to keep it in her green and black theme.  Her card below was placed in a green envelope and addressed  on top of the box.

This is the card using the same digital image with a polka dot top that I posted last month.

Here's her box of goodies!!!  I even included a couple of Tim Holtz Christmas stamps.  Now that's Christmas in July!  It was SO much fun planning, shopping and filling her box.  Although I got some Orville Redenbacher popcorn, I just had to get the The Skinny Pop popcorn since it's packaging is green and back AND it's delicious!  Yes popcorn is her favorite snack.

Inspired by several challenges I created this card using Our Daily Bread Designs stamp I received from Archivers before they closed.  It's my first time using it. My next door neighbors have sold their home and moving.  They are a sweet couple. I wish them the very best and will be placing it in their mailbox.

Sew Nice

You never know who loves your work.  On Administrative Assistant Day, I gave our receptionist a card with a few sweeties in a bag.  She just got back from sick leave and asked me to make 20 thank you cards for her.  I'm sharing a set of five from Hero Arts stamp set So Artsy.  Yes I pulled the stamps out.  Didn't know how to charge her, because I've never received an order this large.  I told her to just bless me.
