My friend Mary Joyce at Scraps of Color gifted me with these dies and I'm having way too much fun. I used my sorority colors Crimson and Cream with a neutral color black to create this card. Sketch Saturday made it easy with their sketch challenge. Thought I would have a little more fun adding my die cuts with a goal of getting together more often from Cut It Up. My sorority sisters are all busy ladies, but sometimes you have to get away from it all and take time to fellowship. Craftycatz has a twist with One for the Ladies so this is my creation.
Close up of their attire.
Entering in the following challenges: Crafty Catz - #399 ATG with an Optional Twist - One for the Ladies Cut it Up - Must use die cut and a Resolution or Goal Sketch Saturday - Sketch 496
I was a winner at Scrapbook.com World Card Making Day! It made my day. It was that kind of week when I had so many deadline projects and goals to meet at work, personal goals to stay focus with and trying to stay calm in all of it got me feeling pretty exhausted. But there was a Silver Lining.....When I arrived home late last night, I was thrilled to pick up this huge box filled with goodies. Let me share it with you! You will be seeing some projects real soon. I don't have any of these items in my stash so I can't wait to play in the craft room. WOW, What A Blessing! Sad to see so many craft stores have closed their doors, but Scrapbook.com is still striving and inspiring us to craft! Got to love that place!!!!!!!!!!!!
My cowgirl is ready to cut up cancer. Do you see her about to pull out her scissors? It's another one of Robert Jackson cute digital images. Scraps of Color has a Breast Cancer Challenge using one of his images. The sweet Mary Joyce is hosting. Tuesday Morning Sketches helped me create this card. Let's fill our blogs with pink and join in the fight for the cause.
Mary Joyce hosted a Prima doll Friendship Swap over at Scraps of Color. Tiare was my partner and she loves the color Fushia. These dolls can be quite addicting. I've got another one on my desk in the making. You might have to click on the photo to see the details in the dress! Thanks for stopping by. Let me know what you think.
Using a digital image from Robert Jackson, I created this card inspired by Verve's sketch challenge. The paper is from Die Cut with a View 'Crisp Luxury' paper stack. Sentiment and cross is also from Verve 'Faith Medley set. I added stickles.
I'm sharing cards made for our Direct Support Professional team at SRVS! It takes a BIG heart to work with people with disabilities. The cards are all made from scraps I was going to throw away. The paper was too pretty to trash, but I found a purpose for it. Cardmaking is a great way to use your scraps. The sentiment is by Verve's Stamps!
Well Hello friends,
I suppose you thought I took a Sabbatical, but actually I've been doing so many requested projects! From shadow boxes, graduation albums and altered gift bags, I didn't take the time to take photos for my blog. So without further delay, let me share this Friendship Flip Book I made for Mary Wooding over at Scraps Of Color. Sweet Shirley was our hostess that got it all together. SOC is closing this month. My heart is heavy just thinking about it. They are sisters I've actually not only connecting via on-line, but have arranged to meet in person. Oh what wonderful fellowships we've had together. And you know if we met, we visited a craft store in the city right?!! Well back to my flip book, Mary requested pink and black combo. Let me share the pages of which I used a Recollections 6 x 6 paper stack. (Warning Photo overload) Enjoy!!!
Hope you have enjoyed this flip book and welcome your comments. I'll be over to visit you too! Oh and I also packaged it all in a photo box including her favorite snacks, Planters cashews and Hershey's chocolate along with a really cool Art C Inked flower kit since she loves making flowers.
