Mema's Crafts Celebrate the Holidays

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, but it continues on to Christmas.  Hope you join us at Mema's Crafts as we Celebrate the Holidays.  When you make your projects and cards for the holidays, link them at our December Challenge.  We have two themes:  "Celebrate the Holidays" and "Cold Winter Days".  Our sponsors are Bugaboo and Stitchy Bear. I was going to make a tag, but I had requests for Christmas ornaments for the tree.  This is Girlz Christmas Present by Bugaboo.

This image was perfect for my activity books for the children.  This is Criss Cross image to the left by Stitchy Bear and you can find it here.  The answers to the puzzle is to the right.

Tic Tac Toe at Memascrafts

Come join us at Memascrafts for an old favorite game.  I used every element from the Tic Tac Toe board on my card using sweet little Oisi digi stamp from Stitchy Bear's Digital.   First row: Lace/Brads/Digital.  Second row: Flowers/Bling/Glitter(from the paper and in her bow).  Third row: Edge punch/faux stitches/dry embossing. Die Cut with a View Lemon Flower paper stack was used for all my projects.  Check out the bottle toppers below.

I selected Girlz Coffee from Bugaboo Digital Stamps for my bottle toppers.  MMMmmm I think I need to perk up with a little tea in my cup right now.
This link will take you straight to Memas Craft October challenge and you can see the other Design Team members creations as well as our Guest Designer.  Can't wait to see what you create using the Tic Tac Toe board. For the first topper I used the middle row:  Doily/Pearls/Glitter.  For the second topper I used the first row Ribbon/Button/Digital.

Have a Need? Sow a Seed!

It's September and Mema's Crafts and her M & M girls are welcoming Autumn with a color challenge.  Yes we are ready to get cooled off from the raging heat.  I've altered a toilet paper roll with Die Cut With A View fall paper stack using a digital from our Sponsor Digi Stamps 4 Joy.  I used the leaves from the paper and added a metal leaf with burlap to add more texture. This is a project for my Sunday School class.  They will each receive one.  Our theme for the month is 'Have a Need?  Sow A Seed!"   As we move into the season of giving, I am excited to hear what seeds they will be sowing.

We would like for you to join us this month with our inspiration to create from this color challenge.

You can see what our other DT members created here.

WOW I am having way too much fun as a Design Team member at Mema's Crafts.  Not only did we have the opportunity to create with our two sponsors darling images, we created a BONUS challenge with a surprise product sent to us.  Word is she is giving away FIVE prizes so don't miss your chance to win!

It's a wall hanger featuring Chelsea by Make it Crafty .  The quote reads, "If I were a flower for every time I thought of you I could grow a garden."

Look at this little cutie by Love Sprung at Paper Nest.  She is Full of LOVE!

Now for the Bonus Challenge, Mema's Crafts provided her M & M girls with a product.
This is what I received....a paper mache book
This is what I created with it for my mother.  Some of the items she gave me from her stash over the years is used in this project.  She does weddings and parties. I can't wait to see if she recognizes them.  I used a feather, metal, doily, frame, tulle, flowers, molding paste, chicken wire template, acrylic paint, glimmer mist, lace, and bling OH MY  Thanks to MEMA's craft for challenging me with the book.  It was the perfect choice!

Second let’s ‘Make it a Duet’ with Red & Black.  After I saw the quote, I used my punches as my tools!  These are the colors of my scrapbook room.  The red flower was handmade using my flower punch. The tag was made with my Fiskars crimper tool.  The piercer was used to put holes for my brads. Gotta love those tools with Craft Star digi by Kenny K.
