How will you bring in the New Year?

Are you going to attend Watch Meeting at your church, celebrate with friends or stay home?  I remember when I would attend Watch Meeting praising God and testifying of his goodness.  Wow those were the days.  I've celebrated a few times with friends, but I must admit since 2001 I've fallen asleep right at the house.

Mission Accomplished

All good things must come to an end. For example....(2012 and 12 Days of Christmas at Frosted Designs) Check out my last two days. On the 11th Day of Christmas is 11 Banner Flags. It's my cover for my December 2012 Christmas album featuring my family.

AND on the 12th Day of Christmas is 12 Brads. You may have seen my earlier posting of ornaments I made this year over at Scraps Of Color E:spire. The angel is a die cut from Archivers which was my inspiration so I went in my stash and ........
I think I just might add some glitter or embossing powder next time. Think I'm going to make some next year for my mini tree.

Wow, I can't believe it's over. I really enjoyed creating the 12 Days of Christmas. I'll be posting the rest of my Christmas album in a couple of days. Wishing everyone a Safe, Prosperous and Healthy New Year! Please don't drink and drive.

Farewell Jackson's Digital Expressions

Well friends it's time to say farewell at Jackson's Digital Expressions.  Robert Jackson amazes me with his digital images.  I'm not sure what the future holds for him, but I wish him the best in whichever way the Lord directs him.  Creating for the Color and Altered Art challenges has been rewarding. I've enjoyed working with this talented team of scrappy friends.  Since this is my last post, I would like to dedicate the sentiment on this card is to all who read and view my work.  You are truly wonderful friends and I enjoy your visits and comments.

12 Days of Christmas

Last year I completed the December Daily project with an event that took place on each day.  I wanted to do something a bit different this year and I found just the right blog.  Frosted Designs is having the 12 Days of Christmas and their prizes are huge.  I thought it would be cool to post my projects for December and then I would have a book of 'My Crafty Christmas'.  Check out my door hangers.  Christmas Day 1  is a Bird. I used Tweetybird.  My nickname in school was Tweety B.  Yes you guessed correct...I'm short and talked ALL the time. LOL!

Now if you know me by now you know I didn't create just one.   My mother's name is Minnie so I made this wall hanger for her!  My supply list is:  Daisyd's paisley sugar plum - paper stack.  Digital images -  Coloring book.  Martha Stewart - edge punches.  Other supplies - from my stash of goodies and of course Spectrum Noir markers. (See storage below)

On Frosted Designs you can make a card, layout or project using the stash you have.  Come play along.  You have the entire month to post your projects.  Did I mention some Awesome prizes?  Don't forget to be a follower and tell them  your friend Princess sent you!

Now for the storage I mentioned above.....every since I heard of the markers I've been getting one  set at a time.  Being the frugal person that I am I had to come up with something crafty and reasonable for storage.  While walking the aisle at Michaels I saw three of these Recollections displays and asked the manager for them since they were empty.  Soooooooo what do you think?

I keep one of my Creative Memories storage bags empty so I'll have it ready when I'm off to a crop.  You know I'm going to decorate the box to match my crafty space don't you?!

Stay tuned for the 12 Days of Christmas...............................................................

Clean and Simple, No Digi, Oh My

I thought I would play along with Brown Sugar Challenge.  Their theme for Challenge #18 is Clean and Simple, No digital image just a sentiment.   Challenges are a barrel of fun and I enjoyed making this waterfall card.  I didn't get an opportunity to play during our Friday Night Chat over at Scraps Of Color a couple of weeks ago.  The host asked us to make a waterfall card and I finally got the chance.  Can't wait to make another one.  The sentiment is on the fourth tab.
Supply list:
We R Memory Keepers Write Out Collection paper
Creative Memories square punches
Making Memories star brads
Ribbon from my stash

Happy Holidays!
