No Scrapbook Shopping Challenge

This is my take on the No Shopping Challenge.  I created a bookmark as my reminder.  I know what you are thinking and yes I do have  a coupon for February, but I'm not going to use it. : ) TFL
Products used.
Little Yellow Bicycle pp, prima flower, Sizzix scissors, EK Success edge punch

Yield Not To Temptation

It’s a pledge "No Craft Shopping Today" going on at SOC.  Trish initiated a challenge for everyone to avoid purchases of any crafts for the entire month.  Its day two and I’m still yielding.  We are to pledge for the month of February “No Craft Shopping Today”.  Thought I needed to run to Michael’s to pick up some glue dots January 31st.  Didn’t have the time and I’m glad I didn’t.  I found some in my Crop-A-Long!
One year during Lent, I gave up purchasing scrapbooking goodies.  I must admit I was proud of myself.  It cleansed me and I realized I had more than enough stuff to create. Had the opportunity to organize and take an inventory of my stash.  I gave away some things, had a few free mini scrapbook classes, and got a lot of creating done for myself

Check out the rules...
  • *No shopping in any store-Michael's, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby, Archivers, and etc.
  • *No online shopping
  • *No window shopping
  • *No HSN shopping
Well I can’t promise the *no window shopping.  I LOVE to see the new products come in plus I’m strong.  Eye buying is what I do well especially since it’s therapeutic for me.  Did I tell you Michael’s is right up the street from me? Goodness they are just like family.  Mmmmm I’m going to have to find something in my stash to send Trish.  What a sweetheart…And to keep us motivated she is having a challenge each week.  The deadline is February 4th for a bookmark with NO SHOPPING or NO SHOPPING CHALLENGE.  Time to create!
