SMILE

Don’t you just love to play BINGO?   I decided to have a little fun creating this card with Memacrafts BINGO challenge.  I had Bingo with the first column (buttons, pink and blue)  My inspiration started with the Die Cut With a View Safari Kids paper stack.  The digi stamp is by Ann Fenton and the coloring is with BIC mark-its. The lace is from a swap and the bling by Recollections. Are you smiling?

{SAVORY}

Oh my goodness, are you hungry?  Are you licking your lips?  Are you craving the flavors?  I was last in New Orleans in 2010 for my sorority’s National Convention and Mulates was right across the street from the convention center.  Great service & food is what we received every time.  I wish I knew the artist of the portrait in the background to give them credit.  Join us at Platinumscraps and create a layout of your take on this weeks Sketchy Thursday sketch.

I love you

Whether you say 'I love you' in English or 'Je t'aime' in French, I hope the receiver feels the LOVE in this card.  It's a card sketch by Cardabilities that our Design Team was asked to create from over at Platinumscraps.  It's amazing what you find while organizing.  I came across a bag of Making Memories Sabrina collection.   My Minds Eye Blush Blossom paper was used for the scallops at the top, which were cut in half.  To separate them and the white paper I added the Making Memories Decadent edge strip and pulled some Piggy Tales wavy ribbon through it.  I thought the looking glass stickers were the perfect choice to top the Prima flowers.  The edge punch by Martha Stewart was placed in the center to give it more color. The tiny alpha pink/black sticker letters are by Making Memories as well.   Of course what's a card without a little Recollection flourish bling.

A Time to Recycle

Over at Jackson Digital Expressions we are having an Altered Art Challenge:  Anything Goes.  This corrugated board came off the top of a file box I received at work.  Do you ever talk to yourself?  Well I admit I do sometimes, especially when I'm in a creative mood.  My inner voice talked back and said 'RECYCLE'!!!   Check out my creation below.

My first thought was to make a photo frame.  I wanted to use my frame using my cute little digital expressions entitled 'Rain in the Sun'  Fine Arts by Robert Jackson. My photo of the rainbow in Hawaii came to mind and everything ....well tell me what you think.  Can't you hear them singing, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".........?

Supplies
Sandylion sticker flowers
Archivers transparencies
K&Company Sea Glass 3D adhesives
Tattered Angels denim blue
Copic & BicMarkit markers
Dew Drop & Color Box Inks

Come on over to Jacksons Digital Expressions for a little Altered Fun.  You just might be the next winner!

Family Stories

This week is Free For All at Platinum Scraps  I created this layout with a photo I took over 10 years ago.  We are family and sorors of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  I’m forever grateful for my cousin Marilyn who led the way to an Incredible Journey and Awesome Sisterhood.  My sorority keeps me quite busy, but I LOVE the work we do in the community and the sisterhood is Phenomenal!  Oh Just to be, to be a Delta Girl ……
Since our colors are Crimson & Cream, I chose Bo Bunny’s paper collection. I just love the metal and chipboard embellishments and of course I had to include Robert Jackson’s digital stamp.
