Mamatine's Sewing Machine
Clementine pronounced ( klem-uhn-teen) is my aunt affectionately called Mamatine. She is an awesome seamstress. Each time I visit I love to see what new things she’s added to her sewing room. One year for Christmas I made all my aunt’s shadowboxes and her title was I love you ‘Sew’ much.I used the photo of her receiving the shadowbox in the layout.
This week on Platinumscraps we were asked to create a layout using the Pagemap sketch above. When I saw the dressform I knew exactly what photos I was going to use.It was fun using some old buttons from my stash.I wish I would have used some floss in a few of the buttons. The dress form was from the SOC dress form swap and of course I had to embellish it.The paper is from SEI I found in a Kreatorville Kit and the titleframe is from Crate paper. The animal print is from Me & My Big Ideas. I used Martha Stewart edge punch under the journaling.TFL and I welcome your comments
This is an absolutely fabulous layout. I left a comment on SOC nbut forgot to include that it was really cool how you trimmed the photo of Mamatine and put it on patterned paper. Nifty!!! TFS
