How will you bring in the New Year?

Are you going to attend Watch Meeting at your church, celebrate with friends or stay home?  I remember when I would attend Watch Meeting praising God and testifying of his goodness.  Wow those were the days.  I've celebrated a few times with friends, but I must admit since 2001 I've fallen asleep right at the house.

  1. All the cards are nice. I like the idea of falling asleep before the New Year. I make myself do something every year even if it is just go to the casino til midnight. This year I am attending a party which I have not done for years. Happy New Years to you.

  4. I am SO in love with the first card. That image is AWESOME! I always enjoy your cards, Princess. But that first card makes me want to attend church with you, and have the opportunity to testify of His goodness. Not all churches do that, and it seems to be something that would really leave you feeling blessed and revived. I do understand that getting out (even to church) on New Year's Eve is a big decision. One, because we get tired and two, because of all the crazy people out on the roads who are drinking alchohol. It makes me want to stay home where it's safe. But you've challenged me to testify of His goodness even at home. Thanks for sharing your talents with us once again and for blessing me - as you always do.
By the way, my Mom and Dad are visiting this week. It made me think of you the other day as we were talking about our Moms. I don't know if your Mama lives nearby you, but it's nice to have mine visiting for a week, and I just wanted to let you know that i was thinking of you.
Have a blessed week in the Lord.

  6. Wonderful cards Princess. Especially love how you used the patterned paper on the first one. Celebrated with one other couple at our home. Played pool & Guesstures, ate and drank homemade appetizers and margaritas, and at midnight looked out at the fireworks display behind our house. Happy New Year to you! See you over at SOC!
