Time to Catch Up

I'm catching up on my 12 days of Christmas at Frosted Designs.  Last night I was non stop working on Day 6-10.  What excites me the most is that everything I am creating is from my stash.  Well let me get right to my next day which is Day 6.

Day 6 is Six Washi Tape Strips.  I didn't have it in my stash so crafty me decided to make it.  I watched this tutorial and below is the result.   It's too much work lol   .......  Here's my 6x6 layout
Recipe ingredients:
Making Memories Mistletoe paper
Martha Stewart edge punch
Fiskars paper crimper
Whimsie Doodles image
Spectrum markers
 Gel pen
Entered in:Word Art Wednesday #59 Anything Goes

Day 7 is Seven Snowflakes using a 6x6 layout.  I love this angel digi and thought the snowflakes would be a perfect touch.
Recipe ingredient:
Martha Stewart edge punch
Dress it Up snowflakes & sentiment
Sassy Studio image
Spectrum markers
Gel pen

Entered inSimon Says Stamps - Merry Christmas, Inky Impressions - IIC90 Sparkle, Spectrum Noir Winter Blues

Day 8 is Eight Brands/Products.  Enough cards & layouts....I wanted to challenge myself on a new technique.  My inner self told me at midnight "Try the candle technique".
Recipe Ingredients:
Hanna Stamps - image
Stampendous - sentiment
Spectrum Noir -  markers
Dress it Up - Holly
Bobbin Ribbon - sentiment ribbon
Packaged Garland - fiber
Versa Mark - ink pad
Michaels - tissue paper

Entered in Brown Sugar Challenge #20 Red, Green & Cream
Day 9 is Nine pearls or sparklers.  Just a sweet little tag.  Finally used a fabric sticker I purchased years ago. I cut nine pearls from a stash I picked up at Hancock fabrics.
Recipe Ingredients:
Little Yellow Bicycle paper
Hot Of the Press fabric sentiment
Sew Easy fancy floss
Prima flower
Pearls & ribbon from my stash

Entered in
Lil Red Wagon 164 Christmas tag, The Pink Elephant  - TPE 179, Pink by Designstamps,
Crafty Creations  - Seasonal tags
Day 10 is Ten buttons on it.  I wanted to use a creative way of placing the buttons.  My first idea was hearts, but I thought it would look too much like Valentine's Day so I chose a tree.  I wanted to add more embellishments, but like the clean & simple look.

Recipe Ingredients:
Martha Stewart edge punch
Buttons were a RAK gift
Sew easy fancy floss

Entered in:  Allsorts  #185 Oh Christmas Tree

Okay stay tuned for Day 11 and 12.  You don't know the fun I'm having!!!!    I welcome your comments.

  3. You're SO creative, and I love that you were able to push yourself AND to utilize bits of your scrap stash. That makes crafting even better! I love being able to use oldies but goodies (which is what I did for my WAW card this week). It feels good. I couldn't even tell you what brands the papers I used this week are because they're so old - they were in a Christmas bin I've had forever.
Thanks for sharing your awesome talents with us and for placing your beautiful art in our challenge. It's always SUCH a blessing to us, Princess. Have a wonderful week and please come back to share again soon.
