We are in our 3rd week continuing the EMPIRE Take
Over Challenge at Scraps of Color featuring Bryshere Y. Gray. He’s better known as Hakeem, the youngest son
of Lucious and Cookie Lyons. The
challenge at SOC was to use the color gold and music notes in our projects. I used gold Stickles and sheet music in both
cards.
The second card is a tribute to “Black Girls Rock”. What an Amazing show Sunday evening. India Arie and Janelle Monae are also images by Robert Jackson that I
added with Hakeem. Robert Jackson can ROCK
a digi image! Don’t you think? This was also my Design Team project for
Scraps of Color E:Spire. I challenged the readers to be an inspiration to the girls in their community and create something from the heART. It can be a card, tag, canvas, whatever. 'A creative girl is a genius.'
Entering the 1st card in the following challenges:
Scraps of Color – Challenge 6 Use Your Stash: Brads, Eyelets and other Metal things (metal
clock and arrows)
Memas Crafts – April Anything Goes with a twist ‘Use a Die
or a Punch (note paper edge punch)
MOJO Monday – sketch challenge
Super card, great job on the coloring.
