It's a Church Fan

I created a Church Fan for my May Guest Designer post at Word Art Wednesday.  We are preparing for Vacation Bible School and the adult ladies class will be making church fans.  They are excited, because the children always make crafts.  Last year the ladies request one day for crafts.  This is one of the examples.  I can't wait to make the kits up for them.  Sure have enjoyed being a Guest Designer for Word Art Wednesday.  Won't you join us in creating a Family/Friendly craft and post?

The Winner will win a $25 gift certificate.  The sponsor for Challenge Week 232-233 is

Entering in the following challenges:
Everybody Art Challenge - For Girls
Lemon Shortcake #16 - Anything Goes
Artistic Inspirations #157 - Anything Goes with Flowers
Dream Valley Challenges - #132 Add A Doily

  2. Princess, This is such a cool idea. My granddaughter Taylor and I do crafts for all the SS children and this looks like a fun project for any age. Where do you get your ideas? I have enjoyed all your art this month and thank you for blessing us all in blogland with your projects, big and small. You have a good heart and it doesn't go unnoticed. Blessings, Carole

    1. Thank you Carole. It's been a pleasure designing for Word Art Wednesday. Someone gave me a box of sticks and the first crafty project that came to mind was a fan. I love using my scraps to make them. My first one was 8x8, but for the class I'm making them 6x6.

    1. Thanks Treva it's all from scraps right from the scrap room. I try to use a scripture and sheet music from our programs. My first three were made with cardboard inserts between the front and back. I make sure I have heavy card stock like Die Cut with a View paper pads
