Memory Garden

Just wanted to post my Memory Garden created for our Pink Sunday in the Fellowship Hall. My goal was to make 30, but 23 was all I could complete.  It was our Annual Breakfast sponsored by the Young Women Association at my church.  Our theme was 'It Ain't Over'. Unfortunately I didn't think of taking photos of the rest of the decorations until we broke everything down.

The Memory Garden remained on the wall.  They were done with pink 8 1/2 x 11 papers.  This idea came from my sorority when we did an entire backdrop for the dais.    The signs were done by one of our advisors Debra Colvin.  We have six Breast Cancer survivors at our church, but three have gone on to be with the Lord.

  2. Oh, what beautiful flowers you've made, and I love the "memory garden" that you've created. Having lost my precious mom to breast cancer, I know how terrible cancer is. Praise God she is now with the Lord as well. What a blessing you were to make these for this special event. Hugs!
