That's Alterable! Challenge

This is my February project created for That's Alterable! Challenge on Scraps Of Color. Recipe Ingredients

Recollections flowers & bling
Creataive Memories circle, heart & corner rounder
Martha Stewart edge punch
Websters fiber/lace
EK Success punch

More views of the mini album.  I think I'll make a couple more from my stash of paper stacks.

Afrocentric Frame Swap

We had an Afrocentric Frame Swap over at Scraps Of Color hosted by sweet Mary J of Afrocentric Creations.  She partnered us together and we had to make a frame based on our partners wishes.  My partner, who was Tory White asked me to go with the flow so I did.  Whenever I make something for someone else I love to put my heart into it.  She replied, "I love, love, love, my frame Princess!!! Very Harlem Renaissance!"  So my heart was pleased with the outcome!
Recipe Ingredients:
Michael's frame
Prima container
Hampton Art Graphic 45 stamp set
Adirondack Metallics Acrylic Paint dabber
Magic Scraps micro beads
Prima, American Crafts, Hobby Lobby flowers
Stazon ink pad
Websters tulle & ribbon lace
Hancock fabrics laced robe
Recollections bling, flowers

I added other views so you can see the details.  My favorite addition was the mini Prima container.  I recycled after I used the mini flowers that was in it. Sort of glad I kept it instead of discarding it.  I distressed the front, added  micro beads and European tiles inside oh and added the word DREAMS.

Love this cloth I got on sale at Hancock's Fabric.  I used the laced robe on the fabric and the button.

The Websters tulle made it a little feminine I thought with the various flowers and pearls around the Prima container.

After I let the acrylic paint dry, I stamped the set of images with Stazon ink in various places of the frame to make my own design.
Yes that's a Sizzix music die cut and a word from a sticker I just couldn't throw away with some bling from something else I didn't use.  The lace and fiber was the perfect touch for the bottom.
Hope you enjoyed the views.  Would love to know your thoughts of this project!  It all started with a $1 frame from Michaels.

Altered Soap Box

Scraps of Color has a That's Alterable Challenge.  January's challenge was a soap box.  Mine is from a Lever box. The inspiration came from Aysha's digital images from her post at Scraps of Color E:spire.  Thank you Aysha!  The box was decorated with Websters paper and fiber at the bottom.  Inside are cards I embellished front & back.  My Sunday School class has to do the review this Sunday.  It will be an incentive for one of my little girls and you know I have to make another one for my little boys.  Robert Jackson has a boy and girl student digi!
Recipe Ingredients:

Spellbinder die
Spectrum markers
Websters paper and fiber
Martha Stewart butterfly punch

Front embellished with Ayshay's digital images on cardstock
