We had an Afrocentric Frame Swap over at
Scraps Of Color hosted by sweet
Mary J of Afrocentric Creations. She partnered us together and we had to make a frame based on our partners wishes. My partner, who was Tory White asked me to go with the flow so I did. Whenever I make something for someone else I love to put my heart into it. She replied, "I love, love, love, my frame Princess!!! Very Harlem Renaissance!" So my heart was pleased with the outcome!

I added other views so you can see the details. My favorite addition was the mini Prima container. I recycled after I used the mini flowers that was in it. Sort of glad I kept it instead of discarding it. I distressed the front, added micro beads and European tiles inside oh and added the word DREAMS.
Love this cloth I got on sale at Hancock's Fabric. I used the laced robe on the fabric and the button.
The Websters tulle made it a little feminine I thought with the various flowers and pearls around the Prima container.
After I let the acrylic paint dry, I stamped the set of images with Stazon ink in various places of the frame to make my own design.
Yes that's a Sizzix music die cut and a word from a sticker I just couldn't throw away with some bling from something else I didn't use. The lace and fiber was the perfect touch for the bottom.
Hope you enjoyed the views. Would love to know your thoughts of this project! It all started with a $1 frame from Michaels.
