I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Memphis Alumnae Chapter. It’s a wonderful sisterhood found on
Christian principles. As the chair of our
Courtesy committee, I send out cards to those who are sick, shut in, grieving, etc. One of
my sorority sisters called to thank me for her card. She read the scripture to me and shared what
she was experiencing and how it blessed her.
That was truly a blessing to me, because not only do I want to make them
smile, I want to give them hope and courage in their circumstances. This cute image by Robert Jackson digital
shows friendship, support, and caring.
So if by chance you haven’t received your hug for the day it’s for you
too AND if you have received your hug here’s another one.

This is SO pretty, Princess. I'm having a very special time right now visiting with my BFF of 40+ years, so this image makes me think of her and the great time we are having. We've been scrapping, antiquing, and going to estate sales. All things I just LOVE to do. We met the year before we started Kindergarten, and have been friends ever since. We also dream of going on Wheel of Fortune someday as a "friends team" and we don't like to miss an episode cuz we solve puzzles together. Yes, I'm having fun...and yes, this card made me think of my BFF. You (and your wonderful art) are SUCH a blessing to me. I thank you so much for continuing to share in our challenges, and I hope you're having a blessed week in the Lord.

Beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteI so love your card and your right cards not only bring a smile but so much encouragement and support. I am sure that this one will do the same each time you use this image. It really is the heart of friendship isn't it. A hug means so much and really warms the soul, especially those going through such a rough time. I am so blessed to read that you serve the Lord in this way and honoring is mission, which is to love. Hugs
