The fans are in demand

For my Design Team post at Scraps of Color E:spire I altered a fan for my Auntie Granny. You'll see her later in the post.  Since then the fans have been in demand.   Call me frugal, but yes I recycle our church program hymns all the time.  Everything else for these fans came from my stash of goodies accept for the square doilies they are from my mother's stash! First I want to share the fan I made for my Aunt Cora.  She's a member of the mother's board at First Baptist Broad.

Recipe ingredients:
Robert Jackson digital
Bic Mark-its
Crystal Stickles
Our Daily Bread stamp
Spellbinder die Prima flowers
Hancock Fabrics lace
Webster's Pages Designers Trim
Anita's acrylic paint

When I was a senior in high school, a senior citizen told me to always keep a song in my heart and a psalm in my mind.   She's right it's nothing  like a song and a scripture to encourage yourself.   I included them both in the fans.

How about this hat! Aunt Cora wear hats from time to time, but nothing like this sister.
Close up

This is the fan that got it all started.
Recipe ingredients:
Robert Jackson digital
Spectrum Noir markers
Martha Stewart edge punch
Hancock fabrics lace
Prima lace & bling
Doily from my mothers stash
Word Art Wednesday scripture
I used two different types of lace.  My aunt use to sew, but at 91 years young she says her eyes are not as strong as they use to be.
Now my Auntie Granny can wear a hat.  She says you put on your best before the Lord inside and out.  Enter into his courts with Thanksgiving and Praise!

Here's my Auntie Granny, Elizabeth Jones Wilson.  She's my mother's oldest sister.  My mother is the baby.  She cooks, bake, can preserves, and visits the nursing home.   We just don't let her drive.  Auntie Granny is  full of wisdom.  Don't tell her what you can't do.  You'll leave her inspired with a plan!  I took her to a visiting church Temple of Deliverance Church of God in Christ, to hear Bishop Milton Walter Hawkins preach. He preached on Favor!

I know it was a long post.  Thank you for hanging out with me.  Be blessed...
