Encouragement

The first card is for a friend that's been having some challenges. It reminds me of Gabby Douglas who has been through a lot of challenges with negative talk of her hair and being called a slave by her former teammates, BUT if you have Faith through your journey......GOD will show you a new revelation of his LOVE.  He will make your enemies behave and move the obstables out of your way!
Supplies:
Basic Grey lime rickey paper
Paper Studio textured cardstock
BIC Mark-it & Copic markers
Recollection bling
EK Success butterfly

This card is made for a sweet teen who is truly Sassy and Fun.  I played on the words in the ribbon and made it a sentiment.  We need to make sure children are shown love and speak encouraging words to them to keep their self esteem high.
Supplies:
Heidi Swapp winter fury paper
K&Company Brenda Walton mat pad
Robert Jackson digital image
ki memories ribbon
Recollection bling
Bic Mark-it & Copic markers

Entered in CPS 280

May your week be encouraging!

  2. The moment I openened your blog page and saw this, Gabby IMMEDIATELY came to my mind, even before I read your post. Gabby was SUCH a delight to America, to young girls, and to Christians everywhere. She was not only dynamic in her gymnnastics, but as a young woman. What a blessing to have someone of her character represent the finest in America. I was SO upset when people started knick-picking on silly little details. But she kept her head up high and represented her country, her sport, and herself with the highest of integrity. She ROCKED! This is a beautiful tribute to her, Princess.

Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this with us at Word Art Wednesday. It just got me fired up all over again about the Olympics and about the joy I felt when she won! Thanks for this special blessing today, and I hope you're having an extra special week.
    Blessings,
